About the artists:
EMMON (SE) – Emmon is Emma Nylén’s (also known from the indie pop band Paris) electronic solo project that saw its first glimmer of light in Stockholm in 2001. She has had great success with her latest album “RECON”, which received glowing reviews and several nominations, including Synth Release of the Year at Manifest Galna and Release of the Year at the Synthsläggan Awards. Now she is back with a new EP, “XCEPTION”, which was released in 2024 via Icons Creating Evil Art. After the success of “RECON”, EMMON and co-producer Jimmy Monell wanted to further develop their sound, inspired by the sounds and atmospheres of the early ALIEN films. The result is an elegant and gritty production with lyrics that explore the light and darkness of humanity. Now Sweden’s electropop queen is finally here! www.facebook.com/emmonsweden www.emmon.bandcamp.com www.instagram.com/emmon_music
NIGHT IN ATHENS (UK) – Born during lockdown in East London, Nights In Athens has quickly become one of the most successful minimal synth/cold wave projects. Inspired by London’s DIY punk scene, they combine analog synth sounds with dark electro beats and expressive vocals. A dystopian synth project that brings to mind a gothic tale that has taken an unfortunate turn. Singer Tina Boleti’s disturbing melodies and sporadic banshee screams sweep through the music, creating a hypnotic atmosphere. The haunting songs act as dynamic laments, playfully pulling skeletons out of the closet to expose the darker, dirtier aspects of human existence. The spirit of punk permeates her energetic stage show, which she has performed globally.
DENUIT (FRA) – Step into the shadows with Denuit, where darkwave meets electropop to create a sound experience they call night wave. Imagine the intense pulse of Perturbator merging with the dreamlike atmosphere of La Femme, all wrapped up in lyrics that alternate between English and French. A duo driven by passion and a ray of light in the dark, Denuit compose music that draws you down into hypnotic beats and ghostly melodies, then lifts you up with moments of radiant beauty. Denuit is more than just music – it's a deep dive into the night, wild and captivating, with a perfect balance between the raw and the transcendental.
