About the artists:
The Exploding Boy (SE) - Since their formation a decade ago, Stockholm-based Then Comes Silence have flirted with death and melancholy in every word and melody. At the beginning of their career, they emphasized the psychedelic with a flavor of shoegaze and indie rock. Over time, however, they came to play more powerful uptempo songs in the darker scale that tasted of post punk and goth rock. Their intense and ragged guitar riffs and melodies have gone home with the audience in various dark alternative scenes outside of Scandinavia, especially in the Germans and in the USA. Now they are home after the first European tour in three years and two intensive tours in the USA from coast to coast and north to south. Then Comes Silence were the first to get a record deal with Berlin-based NEXILIS, a new label under Schubert Music Europe.
Sekret Teknik (FI) - Sekret Teknik's synthesizer music combines the dark cyberpunk sound of the 80s with modern synthwave, postpunk, disco and EBM. The result is a dystopian soundtrack from an imaginary past. The band themselves describe their music as synthesizer music after nuclear war. The first synth band with two punks started when they both wanted a change from traditional band patterns. Behind the anger was the desire to be able to deal with subjects that are dear to me - sci-fi, computer games, 80's horror and fake satanism! At first, the band was supposed to perform as a space satanist religious sect, but the idea was soon abandoned and instead of a cult, they decided to focus on the essentials, playing dark and danceable synth music. The band has quickly risen to the consciousness of circles, playing numerous festivals in their native Finland and abroad, and they appreciate the aesthetic of the darker undercurrents of the 80s.
Maskinpop (SE) - Machine pop has so far been seen extensively on the smaller stages around the country, and now it's time for a bigger one! From Småland's forests to the big city, Maskinpop brings Swedish pun lyrics about dismantled social democracy and radioactivity in wide Småland to lonely electronic loops.
Resonsibilities:
Booking of artists and DJs, logistics and administrations including travel arrangements and accomondation for artists and DJs, catering, liasing with venue regarding technical equipment and staff requirements such as security, producing marketing and promotional materials for visitors (print and digital/SoMe), translation, press and team onsite and DJing (DJ The Fixx, PlusOne).
